# FaWCOS Developer API

> Verified, consented farmer attestations for banks and insurers.

FaWCOS verifies farmers, farms and farming activity from signed field evidence. With a
farmer's consent, you receive a signed **attestation**: the verified facts that farmer agreed
to share, for one purpose, for a limited time.

## What you get

* **Attestations, not records.** You never read raw farmer tables.
* **Consent first.** Every attestation exists because a farmer granted it to your organisation.
  If they revoke consent, the attestation is revoked.
* **A sandbox.** Build against synthetic farmers with a test key before your live review.
